I am SOOOO excited to share that Kaylee Clark, one of Roosevelt's own Unified basketball players was part of the Team Washington girls basketball team for the Special Olympics. The fearless squad place second in the championship round Thursday morning! WE TOOK HOME THE SILVER MEDAL!!!!!
Not only was Kaylee a member of the Roosevelt Unified team, she was also a member of our first annual TABLA individual camp. She worked on her basketball and leadership skills in order to be a stronger leader on her school team this past season. She had a great season and was asked to join Team Washington at the Special Olympics. What a great honor it has been to help Kaylee in her desire to be a better leader and basketball player.
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kaylee and the rest of her teammates and coaches! We are so proud of you!!!

Although we are still under construction, we are hoping that this website will allow for a more interactive way to reach out and share information about our program. Every year our program is involved in a variety of team events, community events, fundraising events, and of course skill based trainings open to current and incoming players. We hope to stay more connected with each facet of our program!
Thank you for your support of the Roosevelt Roughrider Girls Program. We hope to see you in the stands or at an event very soon!
SUMMER HOOP CAMP
Back by popular demand.....with a twist! Due to some feedback on former camps, we are changing the format for camp this year! We are expanding our reach by now offering camp to 1st-4th graders AND we are upping the ante for our older players, grades 7th-9th. We want each part of our camp to meet the players where they are and challenge them to move forward in their game.
We encourage you to consider camp and if you know others who may be interested......SPREAD THE WORD!
Registration opens April 23rd:
